This is the event that has already occurred. In 70 AD, after Jesus' death on the cross, the Jewish people were dispersed throughout the entire world. The Romans destroyed their one and only Temple and they were then scattered throughout the whole world as prophesied in the Old Testament as a result of their failure to get their act together with God the Father. God the Father pronounced this judgment on the Jewish people as you get near the end of the Old Testament. 2 Corinthians 2:6-2:14 This article was inspired by a book by E. W. Bullinger called How to Enjoy the Bible, it was written in the early 1900's and has inspired me to devote a lifetime of research to the Word of God, I hope this will inspire you too. Building a church is a large project that is more than constructing natural materials, because building a church is building an expression of a church congregation's heart. Building a church has a purpose that is much more than housing classrooms or meeting rooms. Building a church is building a sanctuary, a refuge that has eternal purposes. This is why it is important for any congregation of people considering building a church to thoroughly investigate church building designs, church builders, and architects. Why did the founding fathers of the United States consider egalitarianism to be such a necessary value? True egalitarianism is based on tolerance for differences. It is a principle of integrity much more than a rule of law. The antithesis of egalitarianism is judgment. Judging others does not define them. It defines you. Recently I have run across quite a few Christians who seem to be offended whenever any of the professional athletes get on TV or the radio and publicly give God and Jesus all the praise, honor and glory for all of their accomplishments in their personal lives as well as all of their success on the athletic field. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14: 27, NIV In these interesting times of change, millions of people the world over are struggling to find their personal truth - a truth that will sustain them through their present moments and through whatever the future may bring. There are as many definitions of what will happen to this planet in the next fifteen years as there are belief systems, but in the midst of the dissension is one commonality, and that is worldwide agreement that change - in whatever form it takes - is inevitable. The world just can't go on the way it is; something has to give, somewhere. The Christian Church believes that at the close of the age, prior to the coming of the Lord, that Satan and his principalities will mount a full frontal assault on the Church of Jesus Christ, and will make his final bid to bring them into perdition. We have always known that these deceptions will be aimed NOT AT THE WORLD, CULTS, OR FALSE RELIGIONS, but at the true Church of Jesus Christ. We also know from the scriptures, in the warnings of the Apostle Paul, that these assaults will be on the doctrines of the Church, and on the beliefs of Christians. In the Articles on this site entitled, "The Blessings of God", "The Gospel of Convenience", "Patriotism in Light of The Scriptures", "Generation Judas" and "Self Induced Blindness" we have outlined a number of the deceptions we believe that Satan has maneuvered into Church Doctrine, and we would encourage you to read those writings as you find time and opportunity. You will find the appropriate scripture references to the warnings that Jesus, Paul, and the Disciples gave to believers, warning us of these deceptions in those Articles. We beseech you in the name of Jesus, in these final hours of history, to find opportunity to read these very important documents! Why does every one believe that Jesus is the son of God? That sounds completely silly indeed. The Bible has some interesting literary concepts and ideas worthy of mention and Jesus is said to have said some really philosophical things on the Sermon on the Mound. Why can't we just leave it at that? Jesus makes for a great historical philosopher in mankind's recent history only 2000 years ago. Not very long ago seeing as modern man from fossil records appears to over 160,000 years old, maybe older, although we do not have proof yet.
